The guitar solo really grabbed me, and I knew I wanted to be able to play like that. What got me really interested in actually playing was hearing Gary Moore’s live version of 'Shapes of Things'. However, the first two years of my playing mostly involved random hitting of the strings and dives with the whammy. TGC: When did you start playing and what drew you to the guitar in the first place?ĮK: I think I was eleven when I got my first guitar.
